SAWYER - Seeking information on Charles and his wife Angeline SAWYER. 1850 census for 2 Rivers, Manitowoc Co. lists his age at 47 yrs. and hers at 27 years. They had children: Charles (1838), Joseph(1841), Louis (1843), Constance [m. Pyand] (b. 1848), Cleopatra? (1849) and my ggm. Sevle Margaret (1852). Charles died between 1855-1858 and she remarried a Peter LORIE? and then appears in 1860 census lists both from French Canada. 1870 census finds new husband dead and widow living with son-in-law Pyand and family in Little River Twnshp., Oconto Co. SEXTON - I was born to an old family in Monroe County, WI, however, find myself displaced to California some years ago...research into my family is rather difficult from a distance! Thanks if you can point me in the right direction...I am familiar with the Sexton in one of the family cemeteries in LaGrange township (which is where my Mom, Father, and 2 bros. and a sister, and nephew are interred, as well as ancesters going back to the Revolutionary and Civil War are buried), however, I find I have more information than he seems to. :-) If you ever happen into someone who wishes to do local research up there, please, please, let me know...I can supply a fair amount of information, since my family goes back to the early settling days of that area of Wisconsin! in the Civil War in 1865 and his widow Caroline remarried Julius SCHILLERT
in 1865 in Manitowoc Co. (They had one daughter; Emilie O. SCHILLERT who
married August GATZ - they had 8 children). Henry MITZNER and Caroline
ZELLMER had 6 children: Carl August, b. 1852 in Germany (m. Alwine LOOSE);
John Ludwig, b. 1855 in WI (m. Augusta LUDTKE); Augusta E., b.1858 in WI.(m.
